THE WING EXPERT
Wingstop is the award-winning wing experts with more than 1,200+ locations worldwide. They are very progressive in taking technology leaps. With having success with their 3rd party white label app, Wingstop decided to build a custom ordering platform with the goal of ensuring the ordering process had a great customer experience. I led the project and helped build a product roadmap on how to design, build and launch a fully custom ordering platform which includes: web app, native iOS and android app.
DISCOVERY & DEFINE
We developed use cases, stories, & flows using data from 900+ consumer surveys and conducting workshops with 10 key stakeholders.
User Experience
We tested three key UX tactics: time to task, clicks/scrolls, & cognitive load to validate our design thinking and changes. This was done in collaboration with existing customers with the following results: Time to task time reduced by 60%, Clicks reduced by 60%, Scrolls reduced by 67%, Cognitive load reduced by the use of restructured menu categories and marketing content.
USER INTERFACE
We delivered an entirely new interface based on 3 brand pillars: Focused, Passionate & Cravable using the Atomic Design Process. The Atomic Design Process helped the team roll out higher quality and more consistent interface designs faster than ever.
